Big Sports does four things. You describe your rules in plain English, it builds the schedule around them, it survives the Saturday rainout, and it remembers every change so you can take any of them back out.
Type the rule the way you'd say it to another person: “no team plays back-to-back road games”, “Field 3 is dark after 6pm in October”, “Coach Oyelaran has two teams and can't be in two places”. Smart rules either matches a rule type Big Sports already has or builds you a new one.
Then it shows its work. Before you accept anything, the rule runs against your real season, and you see how many of your games it flags, which ones they are, and a game it clears.
Round-robins, double round-robins, group pools, and single- and double-elimination brackets, including the shape most leagues actually run: a round-robin or a pool that feeds a playoff. Your league's rules sit on top: rest days, venue blackouts, games per week, home and away balance, coaches who can't be in two places at once.
The schedule comes from your rules and nothing else. No language model writes it, so when a coach asks why their team plays at 8am twice, you can point to the rules and fields that put it there.
Rain doesn't check your calendar. Postpone a game and the engine suggests make-up slots that fit your rules (field free, your rest rules intact, nobody double-booked), best first. You pick one.
Conservative by default: one rainout moves that game, not five others you already told parents about. When you need a bigger reshuffle, you can regenerate the unlocked games and review the result before you keep it.
Every edit is saved as its own step: who did it, when, and what it changed. Undo takes it straight back out.
The change history is the board-meeting answer to “what did we agree on Tuesday?” Scroll it, point at it, and undo the change you regret.
When the schedule is done, it's easy to share and easy to take with you: a public schedule page, a calendar feed that works with Google and Apple Calendar, and CSV export for everything else you use.
