What it does.

Big Sports does three things. It builds the schedule, it survives the Saturday rainout, and it remembers every change so you can take any of them back out. Everything else on this site is detail.

  1. Feature01 / 03

    A real engine

Round-robins, double round-robins, and single-elimination brackets — including the season shape most leagues actually run, which is a round-robin that feeds a playoff. The rules your league actually runs on sit on top: rest days, venue blackouts, games per week, home and away balance, coaches who can't be in two places at once.

It's deterministic. The same inputs produce the same schedule every time, so when a coach asks why his team plays at 8am twice, there's an answer instead of a shrug.

  2. Feature02 / 03

    Survives the Saturday rainout

Rain doesn't check your calendar. Cancel a game and the engine ranks the make-up slots that don't break your rules — field free, rest windows intact, nobody double-booked — and you pick one.

Conservative by default: one rainout moves exactly that game, not five others you already told parents about. A full rebalance is one click away when you want it, and nothing is saved until you say so.

  3. Feature03 / 03

    Every change is reversible

Every edit is saved as its own step — who did it, when, and what it changed. Undo is instant and it works the same way from every screen you can edit on.

The change history is the board-meeting answer to “what did we agree on Tuesday?” Read it, point at it, and walk any decision back out.

And when the schedule is done, it doesn't hold it hostage — public pages in your own colors and type, a calendar feed that works with Google and Apple Calendar, and CSV export so the rest of your stack can have the result.
