Terms of Service.

This is placeholder legal text. It exists so the agreement-acceptance engine (#619) can be built, tested, and exercised under real traffic before the real Terms of Service ships. It is not reviewed by counsel and creates no binding obligations beyond what is necessary to operate the engine itself. The real text is tracked in #116 and will replace this file with a new v1.0.md (a material version bump, not an in-place edit — see docs/legal/change-classification.md).

1. Placeholder scope

Big Softworks LLC ("Big Softworks", "we", "us") operates Big Sports, a scheduling application for youth and amateur sports organizations. By accepting this placeholder, you acknowledge that:

• You are using a pre-launch product under active development.
• The real Terms of Service, including license grants, liability limits, arbitration, and governing law, are not yet final.
• Your acceptance of this placeholder will be superseded by a required re-acceptance of the real Terms of Service before general availability.

2. Age representation

By accepting, you represent that you are 16 years of age or older.

3. Data controller / processor

For rostered player and family data entered into Big Sports by a club or league, that club or league is the data controller. Big Softworks LLC acts as a data processor on the controller's behalf. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Placeholder — no license grant, no arbitration clause, no liability caps

This draft deliberately omits the license grant, arbitration clause, liability caps, termination rights, and governing-law sections that will appear in v1.0. Their absence is not a right you are waived — they are simply not yet written.
